I heard this on KQED today and was happy to hear this succinct description of American Capitalism that I've been looking for.
What are the three legs of Democratic Capitalism?
1. Rule of law
2. Private ownership of property
3. Moral habits of people.
The leg of morality is what most often causes democratic capitalism to falter.
