Air Jordan Riots: Atlanta Concord Mall trashed by mindless shoppers

Police officers were called in to break up fights and restore order at a mall where shoppers sought to take advantage of the overnight sale of a new Nike shoe.

The disturbance started inside Carolina Place Mall in North Carolina after shoppers queued to buy a retro version of a classic Air Jordan model.

Witnesses said as mall officials opened the doors, crowds of people pushed their way in. Watch an even better BBC video here
