Ethnicity

I just got my book, Guiding Young Children in a Diverse Society [copyright 1996] for my class: Positive [child] Behavior Management.
I'm suprised and disapointed at how they fumble their explaination of these "stastics".
Listen to this paragraph from the chapter "Issues of Diversity: Family, Culture, Gender, and Ability". My comments in brackets.
By 2050, the population, according to the Census Bureau, is predicted to be 52 percent Anglo [what happend to Anglo-Saxon? where did the non Anglo whites go in 2050?] , 16 percent Black [Black is a color. Are we counting people by what color they are in 2050?], 22 percent Latino [never mind what ethnicity the person is, count all the brown people for the category "Latino"?], and 10 percent Asian [again we're not counting ethnicity only that someone is from Asia?], with Hispanics (who can be of any race) the largest minority population. [!!wtf, There is only one race. The human race!! Seriously!! Scientifically there is one human race. Race terminology and categories were deveolped by "scientists" who couldn't read the human genome to tell that there are often more genetic differences between two people of the same heritage than two people of different heritage.]
"DNA studies do not indicate that separate classifiable subspecies (races) exist within modern humans"
